1. Obligatory subject of the 2nd year.

2. Clinical dentistry I (FDP035).

3. Clinical dentistry II (FDP036).

Aim of the course

To acquire adequate praclical clinical and communication skills in the treatment of the patient in dental office:

  • examination of the patient
  • treatment of dental caries
  • simple tooth extraction
  • taking the impression
  • assistance during dental tratment.

Syllabus

The subject consists of 2 weeks of the practical training in a private dental office(s) according to individual arrangement (equivalent to 9 teaching hours). Conducting this training at the Dept. of Dentistry, University Hospital Hradec Králové is limited and exceptional, only. Student may perform non-complicated treatment in restorative dentistry including endodontics, periodontology, minor oral surgery, pedodontics, prosthetics, and preventive dentistry, as well.

Detailed information will be given in the cover letter including the list of recommended practical activities.
