Treatment of the cavities which will be filled with esthetic materials.
Basical properties of composites, glass - ionomer cements, compomers
Adhesive preparation, acid-etched technique, bonding to the enamel and dentin.
Treatment of the 3rd and 4th class cavities and other lesions of the cervical part of the tooth. Treatment of cavities in
posterior teeth with esthetic material.
Moisture control, kofferdam.
Cast metal and porcelain intracoronal restorations.
Applications, working procedure step by step using direct and indirect method.
Different ways in making the 4th class cavity more retentive.

Pulp disease and its sequelae, sources of irritation.
Classification of pulpal and periapical disease. Diagnosing endodontic conditions.
Treatment methods in endodontics - indirect pulp capping, direct pulp capping, pulpotomy, pulpectomy, dentonogenesis,
devitalisation, root canal treatment, apexification.
The basical principles of root canal treatment, determination of working length, apical stop.
Endodontic instruments - standardisation.
Obturating methods - filling with central guttapercha point, lateral condensation, vertical condensation. Techniques. Crown
down, step back. Endo - filling materials.
Complications of endodontical treatment during the treatment and after the treatment.
Emergency treatment.
Periapical surgery.
Practicals
The preparation of the first class cavity for inlay 47, wax impresion by direct method, spruing, investing the wax pattern.
The cementation of the cast metal inlay and its finishing.
Shaping of the composite inlay on the die and polymeration in "lightening" chamber.
Slice preparation of the OM cavity for cast metal inlay. Indirect method, Stomaflex impression.
Demonstration of an endodontical instruments. Root canal preparation 11, 33, 14.
11 filling of the root canal with paste consistence material and central gttp point. 33 filling with zinc phosphate cement and
gttp point.
14 technic of lateral condensation filling.
Lectures: Content of Prosthetics, tasks of dentures.
Prosthetic tools and instruments - dividing, use.
Crown preparation of teeth - general principles of preparation,
types of preparation, preparation tools and techniques.

Practics: Demonstration of prosthetic tools and instruments.
Training of crown preparation on wax teeth.
