Venue: Sports Center of Charles University, Bruslařská 10, Prague 10 - swimming pool and large meeting room. Theory and practice - rescuing a drowning person and first aid together with training specific rescue skills in the pool. The date will be specified. Physical education is provided by the Department of Physical Education of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine. a) active participation in practical training at 5.4., 6.4. a 7.4. 2024.

b) active participation in block teaching

c) theoretical verification of knowledge - test

d) practical examination - practical examination

e) passed the first aid and anatomy exam before the start of the course

f) to complete this course, own equipment is mandatory - snorkel and mask, diving fins

Unsuccessful passing of the final exams at Lincenc PLAVČÍK - ZÁCHRANÁŘ is not an obstacle to granting credit for this course.

history and current state of water rescue in the Czech lands

educational programs, prevention I.

rescuer tactics I.

rescue of drowning people

basics of hydrology for paramedics

use of basic diving equipment in the work of a rescuer

spine injury in water

rescue sport

final test to obtain a license.

Practice:

Special swimming training to save drowning people

Personal intervention I.

Use of basic diving equipment in rescue

Preparation for passing the final exams and exams

Registration requirements

The lessons are intended only for swimmers who control 3 swimming methods (character, chest and crawl), basic turns, basic diving and can swim in one way 200m to 4:10 min and then another 200m without measuring time.

The student must have passed the first aid exam before starting the course.

Notes: course fee - 3000 -CZK / student - is paid one month before the exams, according to the instructions on the website of the Institute of Physical Education, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, Prague
