Improving swimming skills and training in practical activities necessary to obtain a lifeguard license - lifeguard. The course includes training to help a tired swimmer and the basics of rescuing a drowning person. Physical education is provided by the Department of Physical Education of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine. Practical lessons take place at the SWIMMING POOL - Hostivař Sports Centre (SC UK Hostivař, Bruslařská 10, Praha10) every Thursday from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM in winter semester.

Syllabus

The lessons are intended only for swimmers who can swim 100m the worst in 2: 15min.

The following skills take place in teaching: turns, diving, swimming with fins, swimming underwater, swimming training and swimming skills to help a tired swimmer and the basics of rescuing a drowning person.

At the end of the course there is a swimming test, which consists of continuously flooded 400m in one way, of which the first 200m should be within 4 minutes. IT IS NOT A CONDITION FOR GRANTING A CREDIT.
