The course is intended for those interested in exercises based on the "Pilates" method. The course will take place in the gym located in the rehabilitation department. University Hospital in Motol (at Úval 84, Prague 5) on Tuesdays 1:45 - 3:00 p.m. Classes will start on October 5, 2023. Using the Pilates method to achieve controlled movement from a strong center of the body, improve control over your body, strengthen it and increase its flexibility.

Combination of Pilates exercises on a mat with exercises using various aids (foam roller, fitball, overball, exercise bands ...), which can help to perform your own exercises correctly

The exercise is based on six principles of the Pilates method:

• concentration of movement,

• controlled movement,

• movement starting from the center of the body,

• smoothness of movement,

• accuracy of movement

• breathing.
