Introduction to the basics and principles of canoeing and water tourism. Driving lessons on several types of vessels (canoe, kayak, raft). We will primarily focus on tourist kayaking. Safety and planning of a boating event. First aid for rescue in running water. Water rescue and self-rescue. The course is charged due to the rental of vessels. Physical education is provided by the Department of Physical Education of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine. The aim of the course is to acquire basic skills in controlling multiple types of vessels.

Introduction to risks and critical situations in canoeing.

Teaching rescue and self-rescue.

Preparation of a boating event.

The course ends with a credit. Active participation in lessons in a minimum range of 12 attendances.

teaching takes place in the shipyard in Malá Chuchle or in the Swimming Pool in Hostivař
