List of theoretical courses and practical trainings (including videodemonstrations and work on the models).
1) Practical course of laryngoscopy, magnifying laryngoscopy, rhinoendoscopy, flexible nasolaryngoscopy, oto (micro)scopy; hearing examination (Asst. Valvoda, M.D., Asst. Hermann M.D.)

2) The issue of cochlear implantation with respect to children´s implantations, types of implants, surgical anatomy, surgical procedures, perioperative care, possible complications; implantable systems for bone conduction (BAHD) (Asst. Skřivan M.D., Asst. Jurovčík M.D.)

3) Sanative, reconstructive ear operations, tympanoplasties, stapedoplasties, indications, surgical procedures, allogenic ear prosthesis (Asst. Skřivan M.D., Asst. Fišerová M.D., Asst. Valvoda M.D.)

4) Functional endoscopic endonasal surgery, topographic anatomy, types of surgical procedures, operative techniques, perioperative care, possible complications (Asst. Fišerová M.D.)

5) Laryngotracheobronchoscopy in children. Indications, endoscopic anatomy of the respiratory and swallowing pathways, instruments (mostly rigid techniques). Practical training on the models. (Asst. Březovský M.D., Asst. Jurovčík M.D.)

6) The issue of facial clefts, developmental anatomy, correction of cleft lip, palate, operative techniques, postoperative care (Asst. Borský, M.D., Asst Jurovčík, M.D.)

7) Surgery of the thyroid gland, solid tumors of the head and neck. The issue of lymfangiomas and hemangiomas in children. Block neck dissection in children.

An individual arrangement of participation in operations on the operating theatres during regular business hours and demonstration of patients before and after operating procedures (who will not be hospitalized on the day of optional subject) is possible.
