Ski mountaineering as a form of ski tourism (also ski touring) combines a large amount of skills and knowledge that are necessary to acquire for safe movement in mountainous terrain. The ski mountaineering course is intended for beginners and advanced ski mountaineers. Ski - mountaineering means movement in a mountain environment using skis. For this reason, we will pay great attention to skiing practice. We will also get acquainted and learn to work properly with the necessary equipment, including an avalanche set. As this is a movement in a mountain environment, we will get acquainted with the basics of movement in the mountains and the necessary techniques of ascent, descent and safety.
The course will, if possible, take place in the Czech Republic or Austria. |
