Multi-day sports courses focused on downhill, cross-country skiing and snowboarding in ski resorts in the Czech Republic and abroad. The methods of teaching the winter sports course are practical exercises and theoretical seminars. Detailed information on winter sports courses is available on the website of the Institute of Physical Education 2.Lf UK (https://telovychova.lf2.cuni.cz/kurzy/zimni-sportovni-kurzy-20222023). Registration will be possible through the court system of the Institute of Physical Education 2nd Lf UK and will be available during October and November. The optional subject winter sports course can be enrolled / canceled 3 working days before the start of the course. The courses are focused on the development (or acquisition) of skills and motor skills in downhill and cross-country skiing and snowboarding leading to the improvement of riding technique, both practical and theoretical forms of teaching.

Theoretical seminars:

  • mountain medicine - avalanches, first aid, hypothermia, frostbite;
  • the latest trends in winter activities;
  • modern technologies, including consulting - skis, snowboards, clothing, footwear, accessories ...
  • individual analyzes of students' driving on video.

Practical seminars:

  • modification of skis and snowboards - grinding, lubrication and cleaning.

Offer of activities:

  • downhill skiing;
  • cross country skiing;
  • snowboard;
  • downhill, running and snowboarding for complete beginners
  • ski tourism
