Individual acquaintance with the practical activities of a surgeon at a surgical clinic. Part of a module of surgical disciplines taught in the 5th year. Internships will take place from Monday to Friday from 16.00 to 22.00 in the outpatient department of the Surgical Department of the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University. Maximum allowable number of students for a one-week internship is 3 students, ie 3 students per week. Another option is the outpatient department of the surgical department of the Hospital František, the ISCARE Surgical Department. Due to travel restrictions due to the COVID pandemic, it will be possible to complete this part of practical training at accredited or university departments outside Prague or abroad. In addition to working at the outpatient unit, students have the opportunity to participate in acute surgeries, if they take place at this time. The condition is that each student
