Knowledge in the field of immunopharmacology is important in terms of the massive development of this scientific discipline and its ever-increasing practical therapeutic application. The course offers general and latest information on therapeutic approaches/trends and medicines/substances used for immunity modulation, that used for suppression of unwanted immune responses of the organism (immunosuppressants) and that, in turn, increasing the immune responses of the organism (immunostimulants). Example case studies involving possible interaction problems etc., will be solved using web drug databases.
