Aim of the course

Aim of this course is to teach you basic make-up skills used in experience-based education - mostly injuries (wounds, open fractures, burns, bruises, ...). You will also learn basics of experience-based and simulation medicine - rules of simulations, how to instruct figurants, ...

 

This course is a perecquisite for Simulation medicine - lectorship course, which will be held in higher grades.

For learning moulages and make-up skills, we will meet twice during the summer semester; there will be also one booster meeting just before the first aid course (the term will be announced).

 

We will work with fake blood, so please bring some cloths which can get dirty or damaged.

Syllabus

Concise subject syllabus: students will practise make-up of most frequent pathological features - mostly those of traumatologic origin (bruises, minor and major wounds, massive bleeding, bone fractures etc.) and learn mechanisms of injury causing these features.
