The aim of this one-semester course is to provide the students the basic overview of molecular aspects of cell signaling, its disorders and clinical implications.

The aim of the course is to provide the students the basic overview of molecular

mechanims of cell signaling, its disorders and clinical implications.

The students will get information on the different molecular signaling pathways,

the mechamisms of their regulation and on their role in physiology and

etiopathogenesis of diseases.

Characterization of signal molecules, signaling pathways and molecular responses

to the signal. Hormone signaling. Cytokine signaling. Signaling aspects of

cholesterol biosynthesis regulation. Adhesion receptors signaling. Apoptotic

signaling.
