Block training in form of a clinical practice for the duration of 4 weeks before the final state examination from Gynaecology and Obstetrics. The aim is to get acquainted with the clinical routine work in the field of gynecology and obstetrics before the state examination in this field. The practice consists of seminars, theoretical and practical preparation. Seminars are held in the first week according to the number of students in the lecture room of the ÚPMD in Podolí, Podolské nábřeží 157, 147 00 Praha 4. First day begins at 8 AM, please be punctual. 2nd - 4th week of practice can be completed at accredited ObGyn department in any hospital in Czech Republic. All students must inform the study department no later than 1 month before the start of the practice or sign up for an internship application at either FNKV or ÚPMD. Slots to register for the practice in SIS will open 30 days before the beginning of practice.Higher number can only be arranged with the head of the department - prof. Rob. On the first day of practice go to the lecture room in the ObGyn department of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine and FNKV, Srobarova 50, Praha 10, or ÚPMD in Podolí, Podolské nábřeží 157, 147 00 Prague 4 at 7:55 AM. In case of clinical practice outside FNKV and ÚPMD, the time schedule will be based on the agreement with the head of department. During the practice students should be involved in routine work in the department under the guidance of individual physicians. We would like you to apply your knowledge from previous years of studies in practice to complete preparation for the state examination from gynecology and obstetrics. In the 6th year, it is not possible to undergo seminars and clinical practice during Erasmus stay or on the basis of the contract and prior consent of the guarantor of the field of study, prof. Rob outside the Czech Republic. Part of the practice is to conduct morning visits under the guidance of doctors, referring patients at clinical rounds, assisting in surgical and delivery rooms, observing patients in outpatient clinic (gynaecological, obstetric, ultrasonography), etc. Seminars are obligatory, attendance is recorded in students' papers. Excuses at secretariate - must be approved by head of department. Acceptance of appologies max to 20%. Students receive credit for attendance at practice and seminar work. Registration for the state exam is only possible through SIS (you cannot register through secretary). During the clinical practice please wear medical lab coat, trousers (skirt) and shoes and place your student card in a visible place.

Bloková výuka ve formě klinické stáže v délce 4 týdnů před státní závěrečnou zkouškou z gynekologie a porodnictví. Cílem je seznámit se s klinickou rutinní prací v oboru gynekologie a porodnictví před státní zkouškou z tohoto oboru. Nástrojem této praxe jsou semináře, teoretická a praktická příprava. Semináře se konají v prvním týdnu dle počtu studentů v přednáškové místnosti v ÚPMD v Podolí, Podolské nábřeží 157, 147 00 Praha 4. Zahájení první den 8.oo - prosíme o dochvilnost. 2.-4. týden praxe je možno absolvovat na akreditovaném gynekologicko-porodnickém oddělení nemocnice v České republice. Tito studenti musí nejpozději 1 měsíc před zahájením stáží informovat studijní oddělení nebo dle přihlášení do systému výuky ve FNKV (do max. kapacity) nebo ÚPMD Podolí (do max. kapacity). Místa pro zapsání praxe do SIS se otevírají 30 dnů před zahájením stáží. Vyšší počet je možno domluvit pouze s vedoucím katedry - prof. Robem. První den praxe se dostavte do přednáškové místnosti do ÚPMD v Podolí, Podolské nábřeží 157, 147 00 Praha 4 v 7.55 hod. V případě stáže mimo FNKV a ÚPMD je časový harmonogram dle domluvy s primářem oddělení. Během stáže by se studenti měli podílet na běžné práci na odděleních pod vedením jednotlivých lékařů. Rádi bychom, abyste vaše znalosti z předchozích let studia aplikovali v praxi a dokončili tak přípravu ke státní zkoušce z gynekologie a porodnictví. Praxi mimo FNKV nebo ÚPMD je třeba nahlásit předem na paxe@lf3.cuni.cz V 6. ročníku lze semináře a stáže absolvovat v rámci Erasmu nebo na základě smlouvy a předchozího souhlasu garanta oboru prof. Roba i mimo ČR. Součástí praxe je provádění ranních vizit pod vedením lékařů, referování na velkých vizitách, asistence na operačních a porodních sálech, observace v ambulancích (gynekologická, porodnická, ultrasonografie), apod.. 5.týden: studijní volno - příprava na SRZK 6.týden : probíhají SRZK Semináře jsou povinné, prezence na individuálních listech. Omluvy na sekretariátu - schvaluje přednosta. Akceptace omluv maximálně do 20%. Zápočet studenti získají za prezenci na stážích a seminární práci. Ke státní zkoušce je možno se zapisovat pouze cestou SIS (nelze se zapisovat přes sekretariát). Během stáže používejte, prosím, bílý plášť, kalhoty (sukni) a obuv a noste na viditelném místě studentský průkaz.

The teaching takes place in the form of clinical practical training. Students are divided into groups that circulate through different OBGYN departments.

1st week - theoretical education if form of seminars (see schedule - teaching takes place in FNKV or ÚPMD according to the capacity of lecture hall)

This is followed by 3 weeks of practice in FNKV, UPMD or another accredited Gynecology and Obstetrics department in Czech Republic. Practice or seminars cannot be replaced by an Erasmus study program or a foreign stay.

2nd - 4th week according to the schedule of students (gynecology ward, obstetrics ward, surgery theatre, delivery room and outpatient clinic)

Gynaecological examination (oncological cytology, HPV HR testation, colposcopy)

Gynaecological ultrasonography

Abdominal gynaecological surgery (e.g. hysterectomy)

Laparoscopy

Vaginal gynaecological surgery

Dilation and curretage, hysterocopy, revision of uterine cavity

Examination of pregnant women, management in pregnancy, cardiotocography

Ultrasonography in pregnancy

Spontaneous delivery

Caesarian section

To obtain the credit student has to attend seminars and clinical practice (every absence must be excused individually, a maximum of 20%( and the first day of the seminars to submit final version of seminar paper from 5th year. The topic of seminar paper from 5th year is an observed clinical case (with attached copy of outpatient examination or copy of surgical protocol, copy of delivery report), max. 3 pages of topic review (font size 10-12).

Credit is a requirement for the state exam.
