In the opening part the students are tought a basic anatomy and patophysiology of the regions investigated by the ENT specialization. Special emphasis is being put on the inflammatory diseases in ENT (especially of a glottis), which accounts for the most cases of the occupational inability. An attention is being paid to the oncology, especially the early forms of tumours in ENT.

to teach a student a basic knowledge on the field of diagnostics and treatment of the diseases of the ears, kneck and other regions of the head and neck

The teaching relies on the elementary knowledge of the students aquired during the previous lessons in the Course of Sensoric Disorders and ENT Propedeutics
