To learn basic radiological findings in the diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and indications od clinically important radiological examination methods.

Interactive seminar (2 hours) with projection of X-ray films and CT images of basic GI pathology and reporting of films from the archive.

Plain radiography of the abdomen - indications, technique, reporting (intestinal obstruction, perforation and foreign bodies of the GI tract).

R/F (radiography/fluoroscopy) contrast methods - indications, preparation, technique, reporting: examination of the oesophagus (Ba swallow), stomac and duodenum (Ba meal, hypotonic duodenography), small bowel (follow through, enteroclysis(, large bowel (Ba enema).
