Febrile Conditions

EPIDEMIOLOGY

1. Epidemiology of intestinal and respiratory diseases (3 teaching hours)

In this practical session will be described epidemiological aspects of intestinal and respiratory infections, explained trends of distribution those diseases including questions of primary, secondary or tercially prevention.

2. Epidemiology of neuroinfections, wound infections and septic conditions

(3 teaching hours)

In this topic will be described frequency of distribution of neuroinfections in Czech Republic, explained epidemiological characteristics of infectious agents, described ways of prevention those diseases (vaccination, profylaxis), characterized etiology and prevention of wound infections, analyzed frequency of distribution of septic conditions ? important factors of infectious diseases mortality.
