The course focuses on mastering the Czech medical terminology necessary for history taking in patients with various symptoms and diseases. Emphasis is put on improving pronunciation in the active part of the interview and developing hearing comprehension. Students also work with Czech case studies and medical documentation. Communication with patients is practiced in the Simulation Centre.

Předmět je zaměřen na zvládnutí české terminologie potřebné pro odebrání celkové anamnézy u pacientů s různými symptomy a chorobami. Důraz je kladen na zlepšení výslovnosti u aktivní části rozhovoru a rozvoj porozumění slyšené odpovědi. Studenti se učí pracovat s českými kazuistikami a lékařskou dokumentací. Odebírání anamnézy je procvičováno v simulačním centru fakulty.

Likewise, they should be able to ask questions, and understand patient's answers. Students are able to work with Czech case studies and basic medical documentation.

Student se naučí odebrat celkovou anamnézu u česky mluvících pacientů a to strukturovaným a logickým způsobem u různých typů onemocnění. Je schopen klást otázky srozumitelně a porozumět podstatě pacientova sdělení. Zároveň je student schopen analyzovat české kazuistiky a pracovat se základní lékařskou dokumentací.

Requirements for the credit in winter semester :
Credit in the winter semester is awarded based on passing two tests (midterm and final) at a minimum of 70% on the Moodle 3 platform, while meeting the minimum attendance requirement (max. 3 absences). None of the above tests can be repeated or substituted during the semester, regardless of the reason for absence or failure. In case of failure to meet the conditions (written tests, each of them at least 70%, allowed absences), winter semester credit test is a condition for the credit (pass rate of at least 70%, maximum of 3 re-sittings). The credit test is held in the examination period.

In case of failure to meet the conditions (partial tests, each of them at least 70%, allowed absences), summer semester credit test is a condition for the credit (pass rate of at least 70%, maximum of 3 re-sittings). The credit test is held in the examination period.
In the summer semester, the student must attend two classes in the simulation centre and take a medical history from a patient model.
The winter semester credit test and the summer semester credit test cannot be taken on one exam date; the tests must be taken on separate exam dates.
Requirements for the oral examination:
The final oral examination takes the form of a dialogue between the medical student and the patient. The student takes a medical history focused on the topics covered in the winter and summer semesters of the third year (see syllabus). The oral examination also includes the analysis of a short Czech text (case study) and testing of the understanding of professional terminology and phraseology from the topics covered.

Požadavky pro udělení zápočtu za zimní semestr:
Zápočet v zimním semestru je udělen na základě zvládnutí dvou průběžných testů minimálně na 70% na platformě Moodle 3, zároveň je třeba splnit minimální docházku (max. 3 absence). Žádný z uvedených testů v průběhu semestru nelze opakovat ani nahrazovat bez ohledu na důvod nepřítomnosti či neúspěchu. V případě nesplnění podmínek (napsané testy, každý z nich minimálně na 70%, povolené absence) je podmínkou zápočtu souhrnný zápočtový test (úspěšnost minimálně 70%, možno konat nejvýše 3 opravné testy). Zápočtový test se píše ve zkouškovém období.

Zápočtový test za zimní semestr a zápočtový test za letní semestr nelze psát v jednom zkouškovém termínu, testy se píší v separátních zkouškových termínech.
Požadavky k ústní zkoušce:
Závěrečná ústní zkouška má formu dialogu studenta medicíny s pacientem. Student odebírá anamnézu zaměřenou na tematické okruhy probrané v zimním i letním semestru třetího ročníku (viz sylabus). Součástí ústní zkoušky je také analýza krátkého českého textu (kazuistiky) a testování porozumění odborné terminologii a frazeologii z probraných tematických okruhů.
