Psychiatry II is a part of Neurobehavioral Sciences II. The content builds on the theoretical and clinical knowledge and skills acquired in the Psychiatry I course. The main focus is on diagnostics, the basics of treatment, and the organization of care for mental illness. A key part of the Psychiatry II course is internships in psychiatric wards and outpatient units. Psychiatry II aims to deepen the knowledge and practical skills acquired in the course Psychiatry I and their extension in diagnostics and therapeutic interventions for mental illnesses necessary for a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine. The course's main content is the work of students in wards and outpatient units.
