Obligatory elective, one-semester course for the 4th year of study. Main topics of the course cover neurobiology of severe mental disorders, neurochemisty and brain imaging. Neurobiological background is demonstrated also using famous case report.

The aim of the course is to bring a review of the progress in biological psychiatry focused mainly on schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychopharmacology and neurobiology of mental disorders.
