The course aimed at improving the language skills of foreign students in order to prepare them for communication with Czech patients, so that students gradually acquire:
a) the basics of grammar (especially the most commonly used grammatical phenomena; grammar is always taught in direct relation to the practical use of the language)
b) vocabulary necessary for everyday communication in Czech
c) specific vocabulary needed for basic communication with the Czech patients in hospital

Kurz zaměřený na zdokonalení jazykových schopností zahraničních studentů s cílem připravit je na komunikaci s českými pacienty, tak aby si postupně osvojili:
a) základy gramatiky (zejména nejčastěji používané gramatické jevy; gramatika je vždy vyučována v přímé návaznosti na praktické užívání jazyka, na komunikaci)
b) základní a později rozšiřující slovní zásobu potřebnou pro běžnou komunikaci v češtině
c) specifickou slovní zásobu potřebnou k základní komunikaci s pacientem

Credit in the winter semester is awarded based on passing two tests (midterm and final) at a minimum of 70% on the Moodle 3 platform, while meeting the minimum attendance requirement (max. 6 absences). None of the above tests can be repeated or substituted during the semester, regardless of the reason for absence or failure. In case of failure to meet the conditions (2 tests tests, each of them at least 70%, allowed absences), winter semester credit test is a condition for the credit (pass rate of at least 70%, maximum of 3 re-sittings). The credit test is held in the examination period.
Requirements for the credit in summer semester:

The winter semester credit test and the summer semester credit test cannot be taken on one exam date; the tests must be taken on separate exam dates.
Requirements for the oral examination:
The final oral examination is focused on the topics covered in the winter and summer semesters of the second year (see syllabus). The oral examination also includes the analysis of a short Czech text (case study) and testing of the understanding of professional terminology and phraseology from the topics covered.

Požadavky pro udělení zápočtu za zimní semestr:
Zápočet v zimním semestru je udělen na základě zvládnutí dvou dílčích testů minimálně na 70% na platformě Moodle 3, zároveň je třeba splnit minimální docházku (max. 6 absencí). Žádný z uvedených testů v průběhu semestru nelze opakovat ani nahrazovat bez ohledu na důvod nepřítomnosti či neúspěchu. V případě nesplnění podmínek (napsané průběžné testy, každý z nich minimálně na 70%, povolené absence) je podmínkou zápočtu souhrnný zápočtový test (úspěšnost minimálně 70%, možno konat nejvýše 3 opravné testy). Zápočtový test se píše ve zkouškovém období.

Zápočtový test za zimní semestr a zápočtový test za letní semestr nelze psát v jednom zkouškovém termínu, testy se píší v separátních zkouškových termínech.
Požadavky k ústní zkoušce:
Závěrečná ústní zkouška je zaměřena na tematické okruhy probrané v zimním i letním semestru druhého ročníku (viz sylabus). Součástí ústní zkoušky je také analýza krátkého českého textu (kazuistiky) a testování porozumění odborné terminologii a frazeologii z probraných tematických okruhů.
