Private Practice Management introduces the students to the basic legal framework of running a non-stae-owned health care facility – dentist’s practice, and they will learn about basic legislation concerning the providing of health services. Further, they will be informed about the functions of the Czech Dental Chamber, duties and benefits ensuibng from the membership of this professional organization. Largely, it will deal with the economic aspect of running a dental practice, definitions of basic terms of economics, price-fixing and minute costs of the practice, relations to health care payers, marketing of patient recruitment. The last part will explain due file-keeping of health documents, design of therapeutic plans and their variations, including the due patient information of possible surcharges for treatment.
