The student will learn about Norwegian language and culture through reading and listening exercises. Oral and written language are emphasised equally, and the student will be given feedback on both through the semester. The student’s knowledge of Norwegian grammar will be further developed. Learning of new words and idiomatic expressions will also be a part of the course. The student is expected to take an active part in the lessons.

This would have to be achieved for the student to pass the course:

- Participate in the lessons.

- 80 % attendance.

- Submitting of 4 texts.

- 2 oral presentation.

- Passing of test (oral and written)
