Annotation: It is a one semester lasting group. It is not a psychotherapy group, but an encounter group fully
focused on personal development and interpersonal skills. Members of the group are working on self
development through group dynamic and reflection of group interactions. Group is not lectured or moderated, it is
based on the activity of participants.

Group will be occurring from 09.10. every Monday from 18:00 till 19:00. Place of meetings is Bruselská 14,
Vinohrady.

Aim of subject:
We are opening an encounter group for students of psychology, for the reason that we perceive group dynamic as one of the most inspiring but also the most demanding forms of work on yourself. We believe that for psychology students it is part of good practice to meet with yourself in a group dynamic before they start to work in their field. Important focus of encounter groups is care for the soul, care for mental health and enrichment of interpersonal skills.

Gained knowledge:
student has general understanding of terms such as psychotherapeutic group and encounter group, he/she understands basics of Person-centered approach and basic of working with group dynamic

Gained skills:
student is able to listen other members of group, use space of group for self care and is able to participate in group dynamic

Syllabus:
There are 15 planned meetings lasting an hour and half for psychology students. They will be set up as an encounter group. Students are participating on topics and contents of the group. Group is facilitated by Mgr. Bc. Daniel Wagner and Mgr. Klára Nohejlová

Group takes part from 09.10. every Monday from 18:00 till 19:00.
