In the course focuses on representative innovative conceptions and their use in education. During the lectures,
students will familiarize with the most frequently occuring alternative schools and innovations in education. In
detail, the lectures will analyze the phenomena associated with the new trends in education – such as free schools,
unschooling, MOOC. We will also discuss the conditions for new education approaches foundation, for example
reform pedagogy. In the seminar, students are going to make a presentation focusing on inspiring education
conceptions, innovative educational institutions or significant innovators who influnced today’s educational
paradigm.
