Cílem přednášky je seznámit posluchače přehledně s hlavními postavami a proudy moderní evropské filosofie od počátku 20. století po postmodernu a se základními problémy, jež byly v této době tematizovány. Důraz bude kladen na filosofii německy mluvících zemí. Přednáška by měla posluchače prakticky zasvětit do interpretace moderních filosofických textů a problémů spojených s jejich překladem.
