One-semester practical exercise, newly acquired. It focuses on the practice in syntax, stylistics, and teaches to distinguish the plurality of genres in Bible. Elementary rules of Biblical exegesis will be acquired. Usually it starts in the winter semester only. Preconditioned is the exam in Biblical Hebrew, the course is followed by a (B-)Seminar in Old Testament Studies.

Kurz rozvíjí znalosti biblické hebrejštiny pravidelnou četbou vybraných textů různých žánrů (narativní, poetické) a rovněž tak pravidelnou přípravou konkrétních zadaných úloh. Cílem je osvojit si základní znalost slovní zásoby, syntaxe a porozumění čtenému textu. Součástí je i uvedení do práce s kritickým aparátem edic Hebrejské bible a do poznámek masoretů.

Průběžné zpracovávání příprav a úkolů k jednotlivým lekcím a vypracování překladů biblických oddílů podle zadané metodiky.
