Annotation - Czech
The first professional practice in physical education is dedicated to sitting in on training and exercise sessions. This subject involves a combination of 6 visits in groups up to 20 students to physical education and sports facilities followed by analytical and reflective seminars of the observed training sessions. These seminars are dedicated to presenting the results of observations and evaluating various aspects of the observed processes, primarily from the perspective of the person managing the process, rather than the one being managed. The aim is to support the gradual transition of students' thinking from the position of a student, athlete, exerciser —i.e., an individual who is managed in the training process—to the position of a teacher, instructor, coach, or trainer—i.e., an individual who manages the training process. The goal of the internship in sports is to acquaint students with various forms of physical education processes at the level of performance or elite sports, community physical education, and physical education services (fitness centers, private sports schools or academies, etc.). In the area of sports training observation, students progress from creating a project and defending it, through data collection and evaluation, to processing conclusions from a series of observations and defending them in a seminar. Additional tasks await students in the area of observing and evaluating physical education services.
