Annotation
The aim of the course is to provide basic information and acquire knowledge of instruments used in human motor research and clinical rehabilitation practice. Furthermore, acquire skills in the use of objectivization methods, which can most often be used in solving diploma work, including gaining knowledge about the advantages and disadvantages of using individual methods. Teaching is carried out in 3 faculty laboratories - BEZ Laboratory, Biomedical Laboratory, and Kinesiology Laboratory.

Aim of the course

Learning Outcomes

The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and general competencies so that after the completion of the course the students:

  • demonstrates the ability to assess the suitability of the use of objectification methods for the given goals of exercise programs, manifestations and disorders
  • demonstrates knowledge of the possibilities of using electromyography, posturography, stress examination of the cardiovascular system, sonography and its use in the diagnosis of the musculoskeletal system, thermography, qualitative image analysis of movement
