Annotation

English

This course will deepen the knowledge of the lexicology seminar and introduce the morphology of word formation. Historical contexts will be exemplarily depicted. Students will be enabled to identify products of word formation as well as to interpret such products. As distinguished from the first course, pragmatic and communicational functions of word formation will be highlighted in this seminar. This course is taught in German.

Cílem předmětu je prohloubení znalostí lexikologického semináře a seznámení s morfologií slovotvorby a s příklady historických souvislostí. Studenti budou schopni identifikovat výsledky slovotvorných procesů a interpretovat je s ohledem na jejich funkci. V tomto semináři budou zvýrazněny pragmatické a komunikační funkce slovotvorby.

Die Lehrveranstaltung versteht sich als eine Vertiefung des Lexikologie-Seminars und stellt eine detaillierte Einführung in die Wortbildungsmorphologie dar. Dabei werden historische Zusammenhänge exemplarisch hergestellt und gezeigt. Die Studenten werden befähigt, Wortbildungsprodukte zu erkennen und im Hinblick auf ihre Funktion zu interpretieren. Im Unterschied zum ersten Kurs stehen in diesem Seminar die pragmatisch-kommunikativen Funktionen der Wortbildung im Vordergrund.
