Annotation
The course will focus on the religious reformations, both protestant and catholic –from various points of view, including the relationship between religion and politics, social topics like gender or family, cultural themes or the complex social changes which the confessionalization brought. The focus will be mainly on Czech lands and the confessional clash here, because this era played big part in forming of the Czech national identity. Aim of the course

This course opens to the students the way towards deeper understanding of the history of Czech-speaking lands in relation to the European context. They will discuss the themes of their interest with tutors specialized in various fields of history and cultural history.

The Department offers INDIVIDUAL COURSES ONLY, in order to overcome the possible language problems.

The lessons will be heald mainly through MS Teams as online sessions. Attention will be paid to the seminary paper and its preparation.

Evaluation of individual course including consultations: individual study course and consultation (at least ten hours), a written paper brings 6 ECTS.
