The aim of the course is to this discipline to the students and to inform them about the related terminology, to explain the structure of the German main clause in comparison with the Czech sentence structure, to introduce individual types of sentences, sentence elements, compound and complex sentences. Compared to the curriculum applicable to the students of teaching German at secondary and junior schools, the theoretical part is more concise and adjusted to the needs of primary schools. As for the complex sentences, it deals, in particular, with temporal and conditional clauses. The correct application of sentence structure principles is practiced in seminars.

Cílem kurzu je uvést do problematiky této disciplíny a seznámit s její terminologií, dále pak vysvětlit stavbu německé hlavní věty v porovnání s češtinou, představit jednotlivé druhy vět, větné členy, souvětí souřadné a podřadné. Teoretická část je oproti studiu pro SŠ a 2. stupeň ZŠ zestručněna a přizpůsobena potřebám 1. stupně ZŠ. Kurz se věnuje především větám vedlejším časovým, podmínkovým, příčinným a účelovým. V praktické části kurzu (seminář) je nacvičována správná aplikace zásad větné stavby.
