Special eukaryotic microbiology

In the course of the lectures, you will get acquainted with representative

eukaryotic microorganisms ranging from yeasts, through parasitic protists, to

marine algae. We will focus on model organisms allowing description of

fundamental biological questions, mechanisms of pathogenicity, environmental

aspects. On selected species, we will show the possibilities of physiological and

molecular studies and biotechnological applications.
