A course on plant molecular genetics for advanced students. Please, visit the web site for up-to-date information about the course. The course is in general focused on plant genome (in nucleus, plastids and mitochondria) organization and function, invasive genetic elements (transposones, viruses and viroids), plant epigenetics (RNA interference, DNA methylation, histone modifikations), methods of direct and reverse genetics, transgenosis of plants and basic principles of high-throughput methods (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics) and their use in plant physiology research.
