Starting from the context in which we ask about the relationship of Christianity to other religions, we will move on to clarify the basic concepts that we will encounter in the literature on the topic and which are therefore necessary for a deeper understanding of the whole issue. This will help us to define the subject, the aim and the method of the discipline. In the next chapter we will turn to the history of the relationship between Christianity and other religious traditions. We will then turn our attention to the current paradigms of the relationship, the direction taken by the main currents of theological inquiry in the last decade, the problems that remain open, their proposed solutions, the limits and unexplored possibilities ... In the course we should also gain insight into the content of the faith and religious experience of the great religious traditions. We will pay special attention to issues of interreligious dialogue - its theological anchoring, preconditions, obstacles, types and possibilities. Finally, we should also look into the issue of new religious movements and sects. 1.
