English

First of all, students will learn important concepts and key representatives of ethical thinking in the form of seminar reading. Attention will be paid to those concepts that are either related to the Christian conception of the world (Plato, Aristotle, Stoics, Thomas) or directly opposed to it (Epikuros, Marx, Nietzsche). Second, the differences between non-cognitivist and cognitivist ethical concepts will be illuminated through reading.

Cílem kursu je formou četby textů a diskuse nad nimi seznámit studenty s hlavními tématy etických diskusí
současnosti. Pozornost bude zaměřena v prvé řadě na etické otázky související s genderovou problematikou, za
druhé na otázky související se vztahem k životnímu prostředí a za třetí na problematiku menšin.

Program
1) Filosofické předpoklady současných etických postojů a jejich srovnání s křesťanskými východisky.
2) Četba textů genderové problematiky.
3) Otázky současného feminismu.
4) Gender a feminismus z křesťanské perspektivy.
5) Etické otázky související s ochranou životního prostředí.
6) Ochrana životního prostředí – křesťanská perspektiva.
7) Etické otázky související s přístupem většinové společnosti k menšinám.
8) Reflexe křesťanských postojů k menšinám ve společnosti.
