The subject of the seminar will be the pivotal work of one of the most important political philosophers of the 20th century, Leo Strauss, Natural Right and History (NRH). Shorter sections of text will be selected for joint reading; students get acquainted with the whole prescribed part in advance. Based on the reading (and with the use of secondary literature) they will write a seminar paper, the topic of which they will consult with the teacher in advance.

Předmětem semináře bude stěžejní dílo jednoho z nejvýznamnějších politických filosofů 20. století Leo Strausse Přirozené právo a dějiny (Natural Right and History = NRH). Pro společnou četbu budou vybrány kratší úseky textu; studenti se předem seznámí s celou předepsanou částí (viz níže Program). Na základě četby (a s využitím sekundární literatury) pak sepíší seminární práci, jejíž téma budou předem konzultovat s vyučujícím.
