Conditions of course recognition: Students obtain the credit for attending (minimum of 75%) and participating in the class. Well managed Czech interview based on a brief text on a specific topic discussed in the course (one per term). Concise subject syllabus: Expanding the knowledge of simple Czech structures and topics: living in a city/country; getting around the town; food and drink/ Czech cuisine/ restaurant free time and leisure activities in CR vs.Europe, the city of Pragueand its sights (field excursion); typical Czech customs and traditions; the Czech history and present; my roots (family history) and my home country; famous and important people; protecting the planet and environment (re-cycling, pollution, traffic); health and life-style; travelling stories (sharing experiences from trips); my favourite film/book/music.
