The goal of the course is to practice the necessary preclinical skills needed to perform for clinical practices, to strengthen the ability to actively participate in patient care, not just to be an observer.

Syllabus -

Témata:
1. HYGIENE: disposal bins, washing hands, putting on/ off gloves

2. WOUND CARE and BANDAGING: Types of bandaging (spiral, reverse spiral etc) - based on location, type of injury etc. what types of disinfection on what types of wound, iodine, peroxide etc. Sterile field.

3. INJECTION: subcutaneous, intramuscular, preparation of medicaments (local anesthesia)

4. BLOOD TAKING: capillary (e.g. diabetes), venous, central venous

5. IV CATHETERIZATION - taking care of catheter (how long keep, when to change etc.)

6. URINARY Catheterization female

7. URINARY Catheterization male

8. OPERATION TOPICS: OR etiquette, assisting in an OR, surgical washing, put on/off surgical gloves. Put on/off sterile gown. Discuss types of disinfection. Discuss other preop patient preparation.

9. INSERTION OF GASTRIC TUBE + VENTILATION patient care (removing mucous)

10. Simmulation room - CPR, endotracheal tube insertion, care of arterial catheter.
