Written exam: The written exam is the only condition for credit in the course. Students have to prepare: a presentation (with a minimum of 6 slides) and an essay (4 pages) - on the same topic as the presentation.

Requisites for virtual mobility

Minimal requirements, prerequisites, and conditions for selection and enrolment of students: Students can use MS Teams for video meetings (camera+microphone). Minimum English level B1:  "Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken.  Can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.   • distinguish between human rights as promulgated and the idea of human rights
  • name different approaches to appreciating the idea of human rights
  • discern the motivations between different cultures for human rights
  • name the different ways in which human rights violations in the field of medicine are committed
  • suggests ways in which human rights violations in the field of medicine can be prevented
