Aim of the course -

The aim of the course is to demonstrate preventative and repressive epidemiological procedures for viral hepatitis types B and C, and the system for observing HBsAg carriers in the Liberec district.

  • Epidemiology of viral hepatitis B and C
  • Diagnostics of viral hepatitis B and C (visit to the virology laboratory)
  • Epidemiological examination for viral hepatitis B and C
  • Quarantine conditions for viral hepatitis types B and C
  • Computer programme for observing carriers of hepatitis B and C
  • Inoculation against jaundice type B
  • State health supervision in healthcare facilities, focused on possible transmission of viral hepatitis B and C (active participation)
