Annotation - Czech
The doctoral seminar represents one of the key study obligations. It focuses on the doctoral student's ongoing activities concerning the dissertation project and his/her further publication activities. The focus of the seminars is on the discussion between doctoral students and supervisors on individual projects or other professional activities of doctoral students. Doctoral seminars emphasize the professional and methodological context of projects and their processing. Seminar leaders may rotate among members of the departmental board for the projects that are presented and discussed. The content of the doctoral seminars about the supervision of the dissertation project: presentation of the progress of the dissertation followed by discussion and comments by doctoral students and supervisors, in the following steps: <br>
The content of doctoral seminars concerning the control of the dissertation project: a) (a) Oral presentation of input information on the dissertation project (research, identification of key questions for the empirical investigation for the dissertation) - 1st year of study (b) Oral presentation of the research design for the dissertation - typically in the 2nd year of study. year of study (c) Written paper presenting the interim results of the empirical investigation (or part of it) and their methodological context - typically in the 3rd year of study (d) Oral presentation of a comprehensive part of the dissertation, which corresponds in character to the form of a scientific article (problem, background, selected results, discussion, conclusion) - 3rd or 4th year of study. Preparation of a presentation for an international conference with subsequent discussion and comments - at least once during study, according to the needs of the PhD student Credit is awarded based on active participation in the seminar, fulfillment of all four requirements in the required year of study and presentation of the paper and the international conference. A 20% excused absence per academic year is tolerated.

Active participation throughout your studies. In the case of an internship trip, the student is excused from participation but is not exempted from the obligation of self-presentation.
