The course introduces students to basic theoretical and methodological approaches to the investigation of social deviations. The course shows the possibilities of application in individual research areas and introduces students to current research results in selected areas (youth delinquency, domestic violence, cybercrime, corruption and organized crime, sense of security). It guides them to work critically with data, provides foreign students with an insight into the Czech Republic's situation in this area and offers comparison possibilities.
