Annotation -
The course is devoted to the definition of social psychology on a cross-section of historical development and in relation to the main psychological trends. It explains the social behavior of individuals in interpersonal relationships, in groups, and in crowd situations.
The aim of the course is to explain the history and current status of social psychology as a basic psychological discipline. The more general nature of the presentation is aimed primarily at providing a comprehensive conceptual system of social psychology and an explanation of important social psychological theories and phenomena. The seminar part of the course aims to present the latest findings and applied uses of general knowledge or to introduce traditional research in the areas discussed.
Course content: social communication. Coping - coping - in social psychology. Socialization.Emotions in social psychology. Anger, frustration, aggression. Affiliation, attraction, love. Conflicts in social psychology. Cross-cultural psychology
