In this course we will work with materials covering the period of Russian history from the 10th century to the 20th Century. How Russia Walked into the 20th Century. This topic includes historical events from the 10th century onwards. The Last Romanov. Russian-Japanese War 1904-1905. The Revolution of 1917 and the Civil War. History of Ukraine (selected events, facts, people). - Zaporizhian Sich. Hetmanism - historical events of the 20th century Soviet propaganda and Russian culture.
