The goal of the course is to deepen and expand language competences in the field of adult education and personnel management. The subject is focused on terminology and selected important thematic areas of the field. Attention is paid to Academic English, which has a cultivated language style with an emphasis on accuracy, objectivity and emotionally uncoloured commentary. Relevant sectoral knowledge and level of English B1 or B2 are a prerequisite for the course. The subject is interactive based on class work and completion of set tasks.

Final examination / Credit: 

Active participation in the course and a presentation on the chosen topic corresponding to the course content is a requirement for the award of credit.  The topic and date of the presentation will be coordinated with the teacher.
