Biology and systematics of major groups of freshwater invertebrates. The course Biology of Water Invertebrates
includes freshwater fauna occurring in Central Europe. Lectures (an introduction to a group, taxonomy, role in the
ecosystem) are partially covered by external specialists. The course is complemented by a ten-day field course
(Biology of Freshwater Invertebrates - field course, B160C14).
Please note that the lectures are given only in the Czech language. However, foreign students are given
list of recommended textbooks for individual study and are welcome to discuss the material with any of the
lecturers.

Systematika a biologie hlavních skupin sladkovodních bezobratlých.
