The subject Professional practice III includes the practice in the out-of-school dental office of a general dental practitioner. During this practice, students perform simple dental treatment under a direct supervision of a dentist.

The prerequisities of the subject Professional practice III are all mandatory subjects of the third year and subjects Clinical Dentistry III and IV.

Perform simple dental treatment under supervision.
Discuss a wide range of aspects of the running of dental office.

The subject consists of 4 weeks of the practical training in a private dental office(s) according to individual arrangement. Student may perform non-complicated treatment in restorative dentistry including endodontics, periodontology, minor oral surgery, pedodontics, prosthetics, and preventive dentistry.
