The fundamental pillars of the subject revolve around competence in leadership and organization in the
application of various gymnastic exercises with diverse focuses. These exercises encompass a wide range of
fundamental gymnastic skills and methodological principles for developing motor abilities in gymnastics.
Everything culminates in connecting the development of motor skills and the learning of skills in gymnastic motor-
functional preparation. This enables students to apply strengthening, supporting, hanging, rotating, jumping, and
landing sub-preparation from gymnastic motor-functional preparation to physical education in schools.
Basic gymnastics also offers a rich repository of exercises present in all gymnastic activities, which can be applied
to other physical interventions unrelated to gymnastic activities. Lastly, the subject includes fundamental
theoretical knowledge regarding body posture and the biomechanics of physical exercises applied in practice,
particularly in gymnastic activities.

dovedností, a metodických zásad rozvoje pohybových schopností v gymnastice. Vše je završeno spojením tohoto
rozvoje motorických schopností a učení se dovedností do gymnastické motoricko-funkční přípravy, kdy je student
schopen aplikovat zpevňovací; podporovou; visovou; rotační; odrazovou a doskokovou subpřípravu z gymnastické
motoricko-funkční přípravy do školní tělesné výchovy.
Aim of the course -
Last update: PhDr. Adam Zdobinský (15.09.2023)
The aim of the subject is to teach students how to lead and organize warm-up exercises in the field of gymnastic activities and equip them with a rich set of exercises essential for subsequent subjects in their studies, such as Rhythmic Gymnastics and Dance and Theory and Basics of Gymnastic Didactics.
Upon completing the subject, students possess the following competencies:
Students can organize and lead warm-up exercises in larger groups, using music and equipment in the field of physical education (working with elementary and secondary school students).
Students are fully competent in preparing written documentation for intervention exercise programs, such as warm-up protocol.
Students are proficient in the specialized terminology in both Czech and the context of physical exercises, both with and without equipment, and can apply it in practice.
Students can demonstrate basic skills related to gymnastic activities, especially floor exercises, and have a grasp of the fundamentals of exercises on apparatus within the context of gymnastic motor-functional (acrobatic) preparation.
Students are capable of analyzing basic body posture and identifying deviations from correct body posture. They can also provide feedback when implementing individual exercises in practice.

Student zvládá organizovat a vést rozcvičení ve větší skupině v plném rozsahu s použitím hudby a náčiní v oblasti tělesné výchovy (práce s žáky ZŠ a SŠ).
Student ovládá odbornou terminologii v češtině v rámci tělesných cvičení bez náčiní a s náčiním a zvládá její aplikaci v praxi.
