The course is completed with "zápočet" Žápočet” is decided by the seminar leader. In order to complete the course successfully, it is necessary to: 1. Actively participate in seminars (one unexcused absence is allowed): subject to change depending on safety measures related to COVID-19 2. Weekly tasks for Sociological Diaries (nine tasks) being accepted 3. Participate in a mini-conference and cooperate in a group 4. Seminar essay (2500-3000 words) being accepted Evaluation Evaluation of individual tasks is verbal (in the form of a comment in Moodle or communicated at a seminar). If the weekly task or seminar essay is not accepted, the student must correct it according to the instructions of the seminar leaders and deliver it by the specified deadline. The student is entitled to two corrections; the third non-acceptance of any weekly task or seminar essay leads to no credit. Late submissions do not count. Students are evaluated according to the following criteria: creativity and thoroughness in writing their Sociological Diary, the ability to respond to the suggestions of seminar leaders and presenters, active participation in seminar discussions and the ability to sociologically interpret information from the diaries in the seminar essay. Deadlines for submission of weekly assignments 1. Students submit weekly assignments for the Sociological Diary every Sunday by 12:00 to the appropriate folder in Moodle. 2. Assignments for the next week will be available in Moodle every Sunday from 12:00. 3. The deadline for the submission of the final seminar essay during the examination period will be specified by the seminar leader. |
